As the rain falls in Monsoon, the Bengalis delve into an innocent affair with their Queen of fish, the Illish. This immemorial love tale is celebrated every year in Kolkata by 6 Ballygunge Place in one of their most desired events the 'Illish Festival. In this lovely year, 2017, feel yourself unrestrained to have divine dishes specially designed by celebrity chef Sushanta Sengupta on ‘Ilish’ from July 20th to late August. 
Ilish is not just a delicious delicacy for Bongs but also an emotion- keeping that in mind 6 Ballygunge Place is offering some exotic delicacies with our very favourite Hilsa fish in some yummy names- ‘#Kancha_Aam_Diye_Ilish_Macher_roll’, ‘#Ilish_Amrar_Tak’, ‘#Ilish_Beguner_Dolma’, ‘#Ilish_Biriyani’ & much more. ‘#Ilish_Beguner_Dolma’ & #Gobindobhog_Ilish’ are especially prepared

Apart from the Festival announcements 6 Ballygunge Place also associated
 withTollywood film director, Sudeshna Roy for the promotion of her upcoming Bengali Rom-Com “Dekh Kemon Lage” acted by many popular actors & actresses, jointly launched the Festival in the presence of Chef Sengupta. Phenomenally, Chef Sengupta named one of his dishes.‘#Dekh_Kemon_Lage_Ilish_Beguner_Dolma'by joining the film’s name with his menu created wondrously. The Director also praised Chef Sengupta for these mouth-watering dishes & Actress Rupsha (one of the casts in “Dekh Kemon Lage” film) for her acting skill.
